Starting Over

Now, if the change you are about to embark on is like making a perfect Beef Wellington and you have never even boiled an egg, let’s keep it real, chances are that you may epically-fail. In that case, my advice to you would be to break your goal down into smaller tasks, which you can easily track.

Then comes the trial phase. You have to try! You will fail, but it is up to you to get up and try again and, if that doesn’t work, maybe consider a different approach. Evaluate: what went well, what failed miserably, what could be improved, and even allow yourself to fantasize with other possibilities. Life is all about trying and you will never know until you give it a chance.

Worse case scenario: you may not even like the damn Beef Wellington, but at least you now have: identified what you have in your kitchen, gotten rid of all the clutter, may have learned other tips and tricks from top culinary experts, may have read a book or two on delicious stuff, and who knows what else! You may have even discovered a new passion.

I really hope you give yourself a chance to try and I wish you success in your new ventures, which ever those may be. Remember: believe that you can do it and you will do it and keep yourself accountable to your commitments.

"The two important things I did learn were that you are as powerful and strong as you allow yourself to be and that the most difficult part of any endeavor, is taking the first step, making the first decision." - Robyn Davidson

Somehow the intensity of the circumstances under which she gathered these learnings makes them even more profound.

What if each of us believed that we are "as powerful and strong" as we allow ourselves to be? What if we quit trying to be accepted by everyone and gave up trying not to alienate anyone and just let ourselves be as strong and powerful as we are?

Nothing extraordinary, mind you, just as wonderfully powerful as we naturally are.

And what if we let ourselves take that first step toward what we really want? Nothing big  no fanfares  just do it.

"REMEMBER today really is the first day of the rest of my life. "

Thank you so much, my WA Family for your precious time reading this little meditation.

God bless you all.

I love you dearly.
